I'll tell you what college is a lot harder then I thought it was going to be. I complained about high school, but I can't even complain about college because I am too busy.
Anyways, hello everyone!!! I hope you are having a fantastic week. After all, it is HUMP-DAY! I also want to thank you for looking at my blog. My life has been everywhere, trying to deal with school.
My classes: School has been so rough for me this past month, It is very difficult to juggle 16 credit classes along with working and friends. Although, I am managing. This week is finals week, and I am sure you are asking yourself how I even have time to write this. Yea, I am asking myself the same thing. I have a final every day, not including Monday. My first final was on Child Development and I got a 95/100 on my final exam! That concludes my grade with a B in the class. I just took my 2nd final in my PSYCH 2000. I was to give a presentation on my 12-page paper. Everything went great, I ended up with a 45/50, a B in the class as well, and 2 donuts (Yes, My professor did bring us donuts). The other two that I still have to take are my PSYCH 1100 & my MATH 1000 final. I am hoping I will be able to pass them both and pass all of my other classes!
Work: I ended up putting my two weeks notice for Kohls. I felt like I was struggling in school and it was hard to do both at the same time. Kohls is really a great place to work I have learned so many wonderful things there and met a lot of great people. The job that I had at Kohl's was called MJM which meant Misses, Juniors, & Mens. What I had to do was put clothes back, when customers tried them on. I find it very interesting how people will try on clothes and put them in a corner or when a customer tries to put it back on the hanger.... But it's on backward... Really? You make me do more work than just setting it on the ground (Ok.. rant is over). Well, now I know retail is definitely not my thing. I have applied to nanny jobs and will hopefully start once the second semester starts. Not to mention I wanted to be home to Christmas break and be with my family and friends.
Church: Church is going well, I go each Sunday and go to FHE. I often have to go myself, because I still don't know anyone. The FHE are fun and I get to meet new faces. This Monday we had a Christmas Dinner. It was delicious! I went with my new roommate Bri! We also sat by this girl named, Colleen! She lives in the same complex with us and we talked about probably making cookies together soon. I am grateful for good people.
Grateful for kind people and small worlds: So I had to buy a new battery for my card yesterday. I had some of my friends help me try to jump it and it just wouldn't turn on. A guy named Patrick in my singles ward was nice enough to take the old battery out, take me and the battery to AutoZone to charge, back to my apartment, and then back to AutoZone to buy a whole new battery. Patrick put the new battery back in for me, once I had bought it. When we were talking, waiting for the old battery to charge, we had found out that my sister, Janelle served with him in RosePark, Utah. It was totally a small world. Anyways I am grateful for him and his willingness to help me.
New Roommates: We had two new roommates move in this week! They are two amazing girls and I am so excited to get to know them better, as well as be their friends!
Christmas Break: I am so excited to be leaving St. George for home this Friday! I can't wait to see all of you and be home for 3 weeks.
Love you all! Have a great day!
